Fit to Be Tied

Today, men from all ends of the United States joined to stand with our dear friend and brother in the Lord Peter Bradrick as he approached the day of his wedding. Those men of us honored to be his groomsmen celebrated by feasting on the meat of a "fatted calf" slaughtered for his special day.

Groom Peter Bradrick is joined by his groomsmen Tim Horn, Phillip Bradrick,
Steven Bradick, Nathanael Cordz, and myself.

Also among the groomsmen was Michael Gobart (center), who shared
insight and encouragement to Peter from the book of Ezra.

Other groomsmen, fathers, and grandfathers join in the feast.

Peter shares with us the vows he and Kelly have prepared for their covenant of marriage.

Later that evening we gathered with the rest of the wedding party for the wedding rehearsal. Peter had every detail planned, and presented it to us in his characteristic passion. Each aspect was intended to reflect on some aspect of the covenant between Christ and His Church.

Older brother Andy Bradrick (center) proudly stands with his brother as a groomsmen.

Rehearsing the wedding march.

Our competant organist summoned tones from The Hallelujah Chorus
from the pipe organ in this fair chapel, along with other music.

Nearly everything was practiced . . . except for the kiss.
